"The Graces we are receiving are amazing," said Fr. Victor Ulto, Pastor of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, Florida. "Confessions are non-stop, the level of prayer is intense, and the number of people drawn here from all over Florida shows the power of little St. Bernadette."

‟Last night, we showed the movie ‛The Song of Bernadette’. The book was written by a Jewish refugee who traveled the back roads and came upon Lourdes.

He was so impressed with Lourdes and St. Bernadette, he made a promise to God to write a book about Lourdes if he made it to the United States. There were over 200 people here.

This week has reminded me why I became a priest.”

The beauty of St. Bernadette's Relics visit to St. Bernadette Parish, Port St. Lucie, Florida was captured by photographer Marisol Guntkowski.

Many came to venerate the Relics of St. Bernadette, participate in the Gesture of the Water, reflect and pray.

Fr. Victor Ulto is seen spreading the flame of the Easter Candle throughout the church with the blue votives.

People gathered at the Grotto for a multi-lingual rosary. (English, Spanish, French, Tagalog and Italian)

‟We prayed the rosary as they do in Lourdes, France, singing ‘Ave, Ave, Ave Maria between the decades, with everyone raising their blue torches” shared Fr. Ulto. “We were under two beautiful trees that were a gift from our parishioners.

One tree is dedicated to Monsignor Cosmo Saporito, who entered eternal life in 2011. He always said ‘The sign of a civilized society is to plant trees under which we may not sit.’ The graces of St. Bernadette’s visit are flowing even though she has continued on her tour of the United States.”
