June 8th & June 9th
"We received the relics on the evening of Wednesday, June 8th, and then we had major storms in the area," shared Father Timothy Ralston, Pastor of St. Bernadette Church in Amelia, Ohio. "We feared that the rosary procession that was planned would not happen. But miraculously, the storms cleared, and we could proceed."
"It was a beautiful two days, with parents bringing their children, and people coming to venerate the relics from Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan," continues Father Ralston. "One father pulled me aside, and he was there with his wife and daughter Bernadette. He shared that they had had twins, but only Bernadette survived, and this was a special moment for them."
"All in all it was a very positive experience for the parish. We were blessed to have St. Bernadette with us."
